Im back and nobody cares, my life has been a drepress long scene from a bad movie, people died, other screamed, I got hit by my mom, and EVEN WORST she toke the internet away from me, so I spend the time in my house watching movies and thinking how much I miss blogging. I'll try to keep up this, forgive me, you, the only person who reads my blog, I WILL CHANGE. This is the video from Thierry Mugler's menswear fall/winter 2011 fashion show with the main articipation of Rick Genest. I know in blog years this is very very very very old but I do not care, I liked it.

I haven't post anything in a while and I feel really bad about it, some things happened that really made me think, my gradfather died, so I had to go to his city and his funeral, was pretty hard, but a lot of ideas to do for my future started to pop up in my mind, so I will do that and show you some photos later, from now and then I'll start with a set of drawings inspired by the currently fashion weeks, staring by the New York one, I'll pick my favorite fashion shows and try to draw some of their looks. This, as you can see is taken from the Jeremy Scott Sprin/Summer 2011 show, the glitter bones dress and the cross glasses came to my mind and I tought I'd look good, I tried to do something new for me putting some glitter in it, isn't maybe the result that I was hopping but I liked how it came tough. I really really hope you like it.
How cool it sounds? uh? I was sailing in this huge blogs/online-mgazine/more-blogs sea that is my rutin everyday lately (because I just don't have a life) & I just found this extremely beutiful video of the AnOther Magazine Issue 19 in a new blog/mag I found (visit them). This is why, and I know I have said this several times or I have even draw her, but this is why everybody likes Kate, she's just amazing in every fashion single way. The video is called KM3D-1 & as it is explained in the magazine post, is directed by Baillie Walsh who has worked with Kate for the wonderful holographic film of the Alexander McQueen's awtumn/winter 2006. So this continuation of experimental and multi-dimentional image-making work as you can see has done the first 3D fashion video, I'm lovin' it.
This is like when you see the second part of a movie you loved & you have waiting for this for so long, I am 17, at my earliest 14 was the time when fashion was coming to me & this feelling of selfexpresion with clothes as the mechanisysm of body lenguage was growing in my head, the McQueen shows that I used to watch in ftv back in the time were so inspirational, were so beutiful, that he became in one of my art heroes, I couldn't see him just as a designer, he was an artist in every single way, I think I can say now that I want to be someone like him as a person, as an artist & the Kate Moss holographic film in that show was a crucial point in my mind, it still is actually. This is the second part of that & OBVIOUSLY it had to came in the today's most advance cool, 80' & annoying thing, 3-D! Everything is 3-D lately & some of them are Idk, just bad, this one, is a work of art. Enjoy it.

So, this is one of the four alternative cover stories presented in the Teen Freedom Issue, this is ironacly called "Tattooed Heartthrob", with those models with masks in their face, idealizing the Jonas crappy Brothers or Leonardo DiCaprio or the always teen's screams responsable Edward Cullen (A.K.A Robert Pattinson) or whoever makes the ladies panties wet, all of them in sexy tattoed bodies. This are just six of the whole package of models choosed by the Major Model Management for the 2011 spring summer season. I just put six of them because the campaign is so colorfull & my blog would look kinda ''rainbowlish'' besides all the ugliness it would come with the entire crew in my page, It'd be disgusting. Full of a strong symbolism, this editorial sends me in the same direction as the last Proenza Shcouler that I posted yesterday did, this is obviously really direct & was made wanting to be watch, it is! A female jesus crucified between guns after shoot herself with a golden crucifix, laying down on a drunk male nun shedding the liquor in her naked body, etc, etc. How you take all this? Let me know it, because with all & all I don't wanna get to into this, I know everyone will have his own version. So with all this & clothes from Viktor & Rolf, Givenchy, Chanel & Louis Vuitton it's a awesome photoshot.
Lleno de un fuerte simbolismo, este editorial me envía a la misma dirección que el que publique ayer de Proenza Shcouler, este obviamente tiene un punto mas directo y fue hecho queriendo que fuera visto y lo es! Una mujer como Jesús crucificada entre pistolas después de haberse disparado con un crucifijo dorado, acostada sobre un hombre vestido de monja, ebrio y regando el licor sobre su cuerpo desnudo, etc, etc. Como toman ustedes esto? No quiero entrar muy en esto, pero claramente todos tendrán su propia versión. Así que entre todo esto y ropa de Viktor & Rolf, Givenchy, Chanel y Louis Vuitton este fue una sesión genial.

Directed by Hermony Korine, one of the most criticized person in the movie industry, ''Act da fool'' is presented as the Fall Proenza Schouler 2010 Campaign, but for me, this is definitely not just another Ad Campaign, as you can see, this have a really cool aesthetic point, is a different direction for what the actual big brands presents in their campaigns, is one of the remarcable works of Korine. Why? well, this obviously have a religious & social background, like he said in the interview for the brand this is like his version of the ten Commandments, maybe for me, it is not as close as the ten Commandments in the whole general catholic view for the society, but I think is really close of what the youth & lets say the unhappy & torment youth feels, including me.
And maybe if you like this video, you'd feel the same way I do, you know, for a teenager, life sometimes just don't have a clear point, everything is so ''fucked up'' sometimes, like the voice in the video says, and you lost the direction in your way. But teenagers are not dumb, we're not stupid at all, the ''grown up'' people use to think that we don't think, that we don't have the mature mind that they have for analize how this world is. I tend to overanalize everything but I'm way too bad to say it or explain it, so I'm trying to doing my best & this gonna make you think either way. So anyways, this video is the living representation of that group of young people who feels how the world, our lifes are somehow, someday against us, but despite all this, we still see the beuty & hope in life that ''grown up'' don't see & some of them just can't see because they don't want to. How can we find that beuty.
Q-What about Proenza Schouler's fall colection inspired "act da fool"?
A- The patterns and paint drips in their clothes spoke to me. It said "Go fuck up the world,burn shit, blow it up, eat mud, snort glue, drink a lot of mald liquor and eat some fried chiken,watch some streppers throw down the booty and find God".
Find God, how can we find God? you have to search him, to speak loud to him, but he will never speak loud to you as an answer. Everyone have his own God & that ( because I don't think is a person, is just a ''that'') is what makes you feel better in all this bad things against you to make your life in a good way. You have to hear you, listen to what you think, say & belive for accomplish all you want to do. Why you act like a fool? That's the point in all this.

Today I just woke up with a really strong notalgic feeling & I haven't stop listen to this song, brings me a lot of memories & those really shitty things that your mind loves to process even when you are avoiding them. So I was thinking about my next choice for this drawings & definitelly in the process I thought about some people that I'm sure I will use later, I just didn't feel that was right in this one. I came with Irina, well actually I didn't came with this, my friend Camilo is bassically obssesed with her, he loves her, so he gave me the idea & immediately I started to work in it. Why Miu Miu? maybe because I loooved that runway show & because it really match with the Irina style. Hope you like it as my friend did.
